Boktrappan has two aims: to draw attention to local authors in the public sphere and offer suggestions for readers of all ages.

Mjölkafållan is a natural meeting place in Huskvarna where many people spend time every day. On the steps of Boktrappan are 18 book titles, from a selection of hundreds of Småland authors. Most of the authors of the books have lived or worked in our municipality. Artist Andreas Blom from Kollektivet Livet med vänner has used a mixture of techniques: spraying, stencilling and fine-detail painting.
